by – John Platero, Founder and CEO of The Smart Fitness has added a new onboarding course for personal trainers entitled "How to get New Clients." It seems a lot of personal trainers have a challenge with meeting new members off the gym floor. In the digital age, many people have lost the ability to "look up" and take notice of new members. The art of conversation is being lost. This new course addresses these issues and provides the personal trainers with tools on how to meet new members, gain their respect and give them a taste of what it's like to train with a personal trainer. The course will be on the Smart Fitness portal this month! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Merritt Clubs is enhancing the member experience at its Fort Avenue Club Provided by – Donyel Cerceo, Merritt Clubs Merritt Clubs’ Fort Avenue location recently introduced a 40’ retro-fitted shipping container to their outdoor pool deck. Inside, the space is split between a commercial kitchen and full-service bar. The new bar/restaurant is run and operated by Merritt’s internal culinary team, LM Poolside, named after Merritt’s founder, Leroy Merritt. The decision to introduce this concept to the pool was to improve the member experience, ensuring high-quality food and service is being delivered to members. The container features a full-service kitchen that includes a 9’ hood, two Pitco fryers, one Southbend Convection Oven, one 60” flattop grill, two continental chef bases, and two true salad stations. The food menu features a wide range of items including cheese steak egg rolls, tuna poke, chopped Thai crunch salad, street tacos, Baja chicken sandwich and more. At the bar, members can enjoy fresh orange and grapefruit crushes, margaritas, and Spiked Seltzers among other beverage options. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . HydroMassage
